My role involves guiding them through there core classes in the Honors program, providing valuable insights, and supporting their scholarly pursuits. Mentoring in the Honors Program is a rewarding experience that allows me to share my expertise, inspire future leaders, and contribute to the development of a vibrant academic community.

Serving on the Honors Council has been a pivotal aspect of my academic and professional journey. In this role, I collaborate with fellow council members to enhance the Honors Program's offerings, develop strategic initiatives, and ensure the highest standards of academic excellence. This experience has not only allowed me to contribute to the program’s growth and success but has also enriched my understanding of academic leadership and governance. Honors LLC RA
As an Honors Resident Assistant, I had the privilege of fostering a supportive and enriching living-learning environment for honors students. My role involves providing academic and personal guidance, organizing educational and social events, and promoting a sense of community within the residence hall. By addressing the unique needs of honors students and encouraging their intellectual and social development, I aim to create a space where they can thrive both academically and personally. This position allows me to build meaningful relationships, enhance my leadership skills, and contribute to the success and well-being of my fellow students. Being an Honors Resident Assistant is a fulfilling experience that enables me to make a positive impact on the honors community.

• Works closely with eight students to help them succeed in their first-year Honors classes
• Organizes meetings to assess progress within the Honors program and promotes upcoming opportunities and events

Honors Learning Living Community Resident Assistant

• Helps create a friendly and safe living/learning environment and fosters a sense of community for roughly 160 residents by answering the phone, working the front desk, and creating programs
• Participates in weekly meetings to address the problems and updates within the residence hall
• Plans and organizes multiple programs a month to promote community engagement
• Responds to emergent situations and de-escalate situations between unhappy residents
